Staff Updates for Fall 2020
We have experienced an incredible year of growth here at Work Truck West and we are more thankful to be productive and busy than ever. We would like to introduce some new faces to our work truck family, here to support you and your work truck equipment from our head office in Langley, BC and our Alberta branch in Airdrie.
Shawn Vandersluis Purchasing Manager
Shawn joined Work Truck West in 2015 as our sales coordinator, and very quickly developed his skill sets for project management, effective communication, and maintaining a critical schedule of key deliverables. When the opportunity arose to graduate in to the Purchasing Manager position this summer, Shawn accepted the challenge head on, and is looking forward to putting his knowledge of all things work truck into sourcing goods and continuing to work closely with our vendor partners to build premium quality medium-duty work trucks. Congratulations Shawn!
Amanda Rathore Sales Coordinator
Amanda joined our team this September and is ready to pick up where Shawn left off! Her role includes assisting our sales team with logistic aspects of new truck projects, including chassis arrivals, documentation, liaising with the production team during the build, and finished vehicle delivery. Amanda brings with her a wealth of customer service experience from her time working in an automotive dealership environment as well as a solid understanding of project management and logistics from several years working in the greenhouse nursery industry. Welcome to the team Amanda! We are looking forward to supporting you in your exciting new role.
Kathleen Clow Sales & Rental Coordinator | Office Manager Alberta
Kathleen joined our team this August and offers administrative support for sales, rentals, parts, and service at our Alberta branch in Airdrie. She has extensive experience in branch assistant positions from related industries including construction and oil and gas, as well as a background and education in graphic design. Kathleen is from Calgary and we are happy to have her providing support for our team in Airdrie going forward.
