For Tyler Osmond of Burton’s Cove Logging & Lumber in Hampden, Newfoundland, a serious snowfall could impact his normal business operations, limiting his customers’ and crew’s access to the yard.

So Tyler started searching in mid-November for a medium-duty work truck outfitted with snow and ice control equipment that he could use to plow snow and sand the tighter spaces around the lumber yard. He researched available packages online and to his surprise, he wasn’t able to find anything in Newfoundland that would be ready fast enough to tackle the impending snow fall. In fact, he looked all over Canada and couldn’t find anything that would be ready to roll within an 8-10 week lead time. That is, until, he came across Work Truck West. “I called and heard back from a sales rep right away. They were great to deal with, all of my questions were answered and I had no concerns throughout the build process. The truck was finished within three weeks and, even though Work Truck West is on the other side of the country, we received it way sooner than we would have if we had used another upfitter.”
