At Work Truck West we need automotive technicians in our team to handle the complexities of today’s trucks and to install specialized components correctly. We are looking for hard-working, collaborative, and positive team players to join our team at our facility in Langley, BC. Your automotive training and knowledge will make you an integral part of our team of diverse technicians working together to build awesome work trucks.
You would be responsible for installing and testing:
- Belt-driven underhood compressors (VMAC).
- PTOs with hydraulic pumps/clutch pumps (Parker-Chelsea).
- Positive-air-shutoff systems (Shocker/Roda-Deaco).
- Aftermarket bumpers (Warn/Iron-Cross/Ali-Arc).
- Snowplows (Fisher/Western/Meyer).
- Vehicular [Police] Consoles (Havis).
- Relays, switches, and lighting products.
In addition to automotive components and accessories, we would train you on the installation, testing, and upfitting of:
- Service truck bodies / Dump boxes with hydraulic hoist / Flat decks.
- Hydraulic & Electric, Stiff-Boom & Articulating Cranes.
- Salter-Spreaders, Boost-Systems, Air Compressors, Welders, Inverters, and other truck-mounted industrial components.

This position is full-time permanent and starts ASAP.
Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with opportunity for overtime.
Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and/or qualifications.
Requirements:
- Your own set of mechanics tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude.
- A valid BC driver’s license.
- Experience in any of the fields of welding, RV repair, heavy-duty repair, or millwright/maintenance is an asset.
